The Security firms Association “Gruppa R” established on the 25th of October 1995 is a domestic multiproduct holding with the core business in security provision for enterprises.
The idea to create a legal guard structure came to Dmitry Sablin, the former leader of the Kremlin special forces and now the State Duma deputy, 11 years ago. His army comrades, including Dmirty Semenov, who later became the president of the Security firms Union “Gruppa R”, supported him in this idea.
“There’re a lot of wonderful people in different areas, for whom patriotism isn’t an empty word. These are the real leaders, professionals in their sphere. In the Security firms Union “Gruppa R” we have such a notion as “obsessed”. Obsessed are the people, who work neither for money nor for fame, but they just cannot stay aside from the social and political life”, - says Dmitry Sablin about the life style of his like-minded co-workers (from the interview for the “Red Star”)
Along this time the company learned a lot, developed its’ own servicing standards, gathered a stable round of partners and worked out efficient work system. Today The Security firms Union “Gruppa R” is a successful business with the large scale of activities, which are grouped around the functioning and development of the following structural areas:

— producer projects realization;
— advertising and PR-concepts creation and realization;
— publishing;
— outdoor advertising services;
— souvenir products production;
— HR services.
From 1995 the Security firms Union “Gruppa R” provides professional security services satisfying the clients’ needs. The guard business establishing began from the private security firm “Rosich”. The need in the centralized management and control appeared with the set up of the next PSFs after “Rosich” (“Grinader”, “Reitar R”, “Recrut-R”, “Gruppa R-stolitsa”). Thus there was the Security department created in the structure of the Security firms Union “Gruppa R”. In the beginning of the summer 2006 dynamic development, growth and expansion of the Security firms Union resulted in the establishment of the Security firms Association. The goal of the Association was to increase transparency and civilization of the Russian security services and safety systems market, which would allow to enter the new market segment – foreign customers. Today the Association provides full range of services, specified in the law “About the private detective and security activities in the Russian Federation”, and joins the TOP-10 largest security firms in Russia. The golden fund of the organization are the former military professionals.
In winter 2002 in Balashiha (Moscow region) there was the cynologique stud center “Ataman” established. This broadened the list of security services with the attraction of the educated dogs. During the dogs’ training the top-priorities are weapon and explosive ordnance reconnaissance, finding and apprehension of the terrorism suspects. Besides these types of work, cynologique stud center “Ataman” provides industrial and civil objects security by the working dogs and conducts different training programs for the working and hunting dogs. Currently there’re over 100 highly qualified specialists in the center and the stud includes 108 working dogs of different species.
From the first days of the Security firms Association establishment one of the spheres of activity became the work with those who had gone through the “flashpoints”. We took care of the families of the military men, who died in local wars and military conflicts, not only materially but spiritually as well. There emerged a need to organize and conduct concerts and different events, linked with the social responsibility of the Security firms Union business. Thus the producer center was established by Valentin Valentinovich Ovsyannikov, Honoured worker of culture, composer, author of over 700 songs and romances, including “Gruppa R” hymn. The most senior participant of all concert events is the Moscow children variety theater. The other aspect of the cultural work is the cooperation with the military bards. For this there was the Center of patriotic art established in the year 2000.
Communication agency “Gruppa R – media” which conducts planning and realization of the PR-campaigns joined the Security firms Union “Gruppa R” in December 2002. Complex solutions are the key specialty of the Agency idiom. Company’s specialists professionally combine advertising, design, information assets and publishing. The publishing house within the structure of the company issues “Boevoe bratstvo” magazine, such newspapers as “Rodnoe Podmoskovie”, “Nasha guberniya”, “Agroosnova”, “Molodezh Moskovii” and works of literature. Agency has its own professional photo and video equipment, editing complex and concert facilities. In December 2006 “Gruppa R – media” started the new business of design and production of souvenirs. Planned is the launch of own polygraph products manufacturing.
In April 2003 the advertising agency “R-Media” became the structural unit of the holding. Outdoor advertising became its’ core business. In the company’s “piggy bank” there’re over 30 advertising constructions and cross street banners in Moscow and Moscow region. At this “R-media” is constantly improving and expanding, offering its’ clients wide range of services: sale and placement of different advertising carriers, installation and dismantling of the large-format advertising (banners, posters, and etc.), control and support of the good condition of the advertising constructions. Within the Security firms Union “Gruppa R” the agency implements internal corporate tasks, providing advertising support of the holding campaigns.
Today any line of business of the company is the pride of every employee. The new HR department, established in October 2006 and focused on improving the staff efficiency, which is the business’s fundamental asset, will play the key role in personnel strategy work out and company development in the Security firms Union “Gruppa R”. |
